Cavity wall insulation grants: ALL householders in their own property or in a privately rented property are eligible for at least partial (~50%) funding for cavity wall and loft insulation, meaning prices as low as £99 for cavity wall or loft insulation in some parts of the country, dependent on the scheme available there.

Those who fulfill certain benefit, credit, allowance or age criteria are eligible for a full, 100% CAVITY WALL INSULATION GRANT.

Free home insulation is available for eligible home owners and private tenants throughout the UK, in order that the country can meet its carbon emissions targets.

It has been calculated that the worst carbon emitters in the UK are households. This means that if we make our homes more energy efficient, the country will be well on the way to meeting those targets. And that's the reason for government grant funding towards the cost of cavity wall and loft insulation.

    Why insulate?

Cavity wall and loft insulation is so cost effective that it will pay for itself over and over again. The better insulated your home, the less energy you need to keep it warm - and the more money you'll save. It will also impact positively on your home evaluation should you come to sell your property.

As a knock on effect, the UK should be able to import less energy from overseas, which can only be of benefit to our economy.

    So, what can you save?
